"Target" is the name that we use in Presto CSAT, and "location" is the name that we use in Presto Insta-Shops. They're mostly the same thing, except for the terminology and a few minor differences:
- A target is anything you can evaluate: it can be a store location, or a department in a store, an entire company, an employee, a website, a flavor of ice cream -- anything at all. Some targets have a physical location and are called mappable targets; others do not.
- A location is always a fmappable physical location -- it has to be, because Insta-Shops are displayed to shoppers using the Presto Map.
