An "anywhere" shop is a shop that can be done by a shopper who is anywhere within a specific geographic region.  Anywhere shops allow mystery shopping companies to post shops that are not restricted to a specific location.

How shoppers see Anywhere shops

When a shopper opens the map and there is an anywhere shop in that location (or navigates to a location with an anywhere shop), they will see a visual indicator on the "Anywhere"

icon:

In List view, shoppers see an Anywhere tab whenever the map is in a location with an anywhere shop, and a red indicator if there are anywhere shops that have not yet been viewed:

If the shopper clicks on the Anywhere icon in the map or the Anywhere tab in list view, they will see all available Anywhere shops.  The shopper can click on these shops and claim them like any other shop:

How to set up Anywhere shops

If you would like to set up a project using Anywhere shops, please follow these steps:

  1. Create a survey.
  2. Create a location to use with this project.  This can be a non-geo location (one that is not associated with a physical location - see here for details).
  3. Add the location to a unique location group.  You will need this to set up the batch.
  4. Create a batch for the project.  Use the usual settings for this batch, but do not add any settings that are location specific.  This includes the number of shops per location, number of shops per shopper per location, and time between shops at the same location.  You must set the total number of shops to limit the number of shops in your batch - do not skip this step, or you'll get unlimited shops, and you must add the location group created in step 3 to the batch.
  5. Contact Presto Support with the following information:
    1. The batch ID
    2. The geographical area(s) where you want shops to be available.  These areas can be:
      1. A country
      2. A circle centered on a location of your choice (provide the center point coordinates and the radius)
      3. Coordinates of a polygon that is the area that you want shopped.
    3. The location ID of the location that you created in step 2.

Presto Insta-Shops will set up the "anywhere" area and configure the batch to use this area.
